Upande is a project that plays with light and movement. Inspired by coastal regions where the forest meets the ocean.
Pushing the boundaries of what wood can do. upande uses an oak veneer lamp shade to control the amount of light distributed. by twisting the top lid of the base, the veneer coils around the bulb, and by clicking the lever, releases the coil allowing the veneer to expand.
