working as an optician for over 10 years in Vancouver, i feel my dreams have come true as now i am designing my own handmade, custom eyewear! Stingray was a passion project for me. my client wanted a pair of sunglasses that reminded her of the ocean. she spent much of her youth traveling the world and scuba diving. one of her favourite sea creatures was the stingray. having that in mind, i designed a few patterns and took her measurements. after several sessions the shape was finalized and i began creating. both my client and myself were very happy with the outcome of this pair, and i fittingly chose to call this frame “stingray”.
